Award presented by AGPAL Broadcasting Inc. and KPPT FM to Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Waldport.  Pioneer Telephone Cooperative has always been a huge supporter of Waldport Youth, Civic Activities, as well as community growth and development.  One of the most rewarding ways the Pioneer Telephone employees “give back” to the community is by participating in the “school mentoring program.”  The employees literally “go back to school” each week to help teachers in their classrooms.  Pioneer Telephone supports many local organizations financially and is recognized for their generosity and involvement in the growth and development of youth, residents and its employee’s.  Pioneer Telephone Cooperative is one reason that makes Waldport “such a great place to live”
